I fly a lot for work, what is wrong with a regional jet?*Beats the heck out of the Beechcraft 1900 (16 seater) that I flew from Milwaukee to Madison in last week (I did get a Fairchild Dornier 328 JETon the way back). *I would have killed for a regional jet. *:D

Expect an announcement tomorrow about a new airline out of Fargo.

Rumor has it to be Allegiant, with a flight to Las Vegas.

Cheap travel to Cedar City then. SUU is about 2 hours drive from Vegas.

$69 introductory fare beginning 11/7?

Anybody want to contact allegiant air and tell them they need to start service a week earlier so NorthDakotaBison can make it to the SUU game?

It would be nice if it were daily service.

They recently doubled service to Sioux Falls and will be doing the same to Bismarck in November.

I'd expect that Fargo could see four trips per week by next Spring.

From WDAY 5:00 news-

Delta and America West have expressed interest in adding service to Hector International.

Good news, considering Northwest has cut service to all North Dakota airports, although Hector only lost 49 daily seats, as opposed to Bismarck and GF which lost over 100 daily seats.

Actually, if I heard correctly, we here in Minot stand to gain seats. Why, I don't know.

Yeah, it sounds like Minot will not have much of a change-

The airline’s downsizing will cut 129 seats to and from Grand Forks and 136 seats in Bismarck. Service to Minot will largely remain unchanged, Dorgan said.

Ouch. Bismarck and Grand Forks are really taking a hit, especially when their smaller number of daily seats are factored in.

Story last night on WDAY about America West (to Phoenix) and Delta (to ?) adding service.

As far as I'm concerned, Northwest can go reorganize.

From the WDAY news-

Looks like Hector received the $675k federal grant to establish air service to Phoenix via America West. Service could begin as soon as this year.
