Two great articles about the up and coming science sector in the F-M region.

Wish they would have included something about the tech parks, but none the less good articles. Mike Chambers and others at Aldevron as well as certain professors at NDSU and even Joe Provost at MSUM are the reason I came to NDSU, and left capable of going on to graduate school at the Univ. of Pitt. I also have friends/classmates that are attending the Univ of Michigan, and Univ. of Wisconsin, among others.

Like the article reads
“We’ve got a lot of smart, young people that, in this day of mobility, are really not interested in leaving North Dakota,” Carlson said. “They are begging to learn. They are begging to be challenged. There’s a tremendous work ethic here.”

hopefully NDSU can up the ante when it comes to graduate programs in the area's of biotech, chemistry, microbiology etc. as well as the F-M area continuing to expand so some of us "smart, young, mobile people" can maybe come back to the area.

because listening to BISON games on the internet aren't nearly as fun as tailgating all day with Till and the Green Monster Gang and being at home in the dome.

We would love to have the students stay here and in ND.
