It shows me as living in Osseo but it's really Maple Grove. Oh well. I guess I'm the biggest Bison fan in Osseo.

I'm there but I will be moving soon. My house is on the market and I am interviewing for work all over the country. I will let you know when I find something.

G-city,
I guess primarily the pasta plant. My wife and I were looking for a small town between my hometown of Stanley and hers of Appleton MN. We found a farm we liked on a real estate website. We like the central location. Carrington seems like a small town that is doing a good job of trying to stay alive.

We have already bought a place northwest of town. It has a 18' x 40' grainery that I plan to turn into Bison Central. I would like to get a section of the south bleacher put in there to watch the away games on a big screen TV. Have a hog roasting over a spit. Maybe some Bison memoribilia on the walls. Hopefully a lot of die hards will be able to make the trip (Carrington is 2 to 2.5 hours from all 4 of the big cities in ND). Perfect for those that don't want to drive to CA or Utah. ;D

i moved to grace city in 1996 and graduated in 2000, just curious what kind of practice you are setting up in carrington, since grand forks is involved i am guessing either medical or law related??

and bison cardinal, the bison central idea sounds awesome, its a nice area out west of the city ;), the pasta plant does draw in a lot of people so hopefully that works out well for you.

medical-family practice

pasta plant has certainly kept the city from folding-actually carrington was one of only a handful of cities that grew in population in the last census

there are definently a few reasons carrington will stay alive, the pasta plant, the ndsu research station there, and it really is a very rich agricultural community...

when i went to h.s. there it was quite honestly a really good school, the teachers there (save one or two of course) were excellent, a few have moved on since, but with sykeston and other smaller schools closing there doors and going to carrington, i wouldnt be surprised if the town holds strong for awhile while the smaller ones around it die out.

and carringtonbison, i hope you are better than all those other und doctors that the clinic gets ;) lol

Cool Map!

Tony, is there anyway that the link to this map could be displayed in a little more "high profile" place so more members would see it and add their dot?

Yeah. I am now in Olathe, Kansas. The movers delivered our stuff on Thursday, February 2, 2006 and we are still unpacking boxes. We have most of it unpacked but enough left to keep working. I hope this is the last move for a while. 3 times in 2 years is far too much. ;)

Bison -cardinal....I live reasonably close to Carrington also. Would love to visit Bison Central sometime if you get it up and running. My basement game and party room is done as a Bison room also. I would bring alot of Bison fans that would come also. Would be especially great on a televised away game that is too far to attend.
