Just checking in, my wife just had a baby last night. :) Six weeks early, but mother and baby are doing just fine. Only 4.5 hours of labor. We had pretty much given up on having children, we had been trying for a while. but sometimes good things happen. 8-)

Congrats on the new edition. May you get some sleep now before the baby comes home. BTW is the new edition a boy or a girl?

Congrats! So, does this mean you don't have to "try" anymore??? ;D

I forgot to mention that. The new baby is a girl, named Nissa. It's a scandanavian word meaning "elf".

And we will "try", we just won't be trying to reproduce again. ;)

It will be a couple weeks before we can take her home, because she was six weeks early. But the doctors say she is doing great. My friends who have kids are jealous over labor only taking 4.5 hours. But I haven't gotten my share of sleep, running a lot of errands. I'm going back to work tommorrow, saving the time off for when she comes home from the hospital.

I was on standby to watch my nephew when my sister had her second. *She called me a 3:45 in the morning. *I got there at about 4:10AM, they left for the hospital at 4:55AM and my niece was born at 5:18AM in the wheel chair in the entryway to the delivery room.

OH Yeah! Congratulations!*
