It might be a little early, but wouldn't it be great to establish a heated men's bball rivalry with those rabbits.

I think it would be great to have a serious nonfootball rivalry with a nonUND school.

Should be a huge game this weekend. How many Bison are going to make the trip to Frost?

Go Jackrabbits!

From Fargo to Brookings is roughly 3 hours and add an hour to Sioux Falls.

Starting from: Fargo, ND
Arriving at: Brookings, SD
Distance: 189.7 miles
Approximate Travel Time: 2 hours 55 mins

Starting from: Fargo, ND
Arriving at: Sioux Falls, SD
Distance: 245.5 miles
Approximate Travel Time: 3 hours 44 mins

However:

190/80mph = 2h 22m
245/80mph = 3h 04m

So you can save a bit of time if you speed.

And now we're advocating speeding!!!

You gotta stick it to the government whenever possible.

No doubt the math is correct here, but a cruise control set at 75 may be the best course. The South Dakota Highway Patrol has publically announced that they will be watching I-29 in the next few weeks. Their motivation for a crack-down is the number of fatalies along I-29. For sure, they have been using air planes and other means to catch speeding violators on the stretch between Sioux Falls and Sioux City. How they have been treating the area from the ND boarder to Brookings I dont know, but be safe rather than sorry.

In Nebraska, you get assessed extra costs for county government and I recently paid a ticket for 166.50 for going 79 in a 65 zone. I finally figured how the cruise control works.

When I drive up to Brookings from Nebraska, the cruise control will be set at 75, that is if road conditions are good and no ice or snow packs.

I"m also sure the SD patrol will be watching speeders for other reasons....horrible, but Janklow may have something to do with that as well. Sad story
