There's nothing wrong with optimism. For NDSU to have a chance in this game, they've got to play with maximum intensity and get ahead early. Chances are decent that the Gophers may be caught napping initially.

I know the guys will give their best. I hope they can make it a good showing, should be a real test and a good way to guage where we are. I know most are expecting a big win by the gophers and that may very well happen but it the guys make it respectable or within 20 that would say alot about where this team is at then. Either way Good Luck and give em hell. ;D

I know that there is about zero enthusiasm for this game on the Gopher boards. If the Gopher players share this lack of enthusiasm, it may be something that the Bison can exploit.

We have some young players. They are starting fresh. They could be on the Gopher team. If they were they wouldnt be starting for another year or so, probably, but whose to say? Why cant the BISON win? I think they can. :)

By the way, if you are going to the game, make sure to wear green, not gold! I know the Bison's colors are Green and Gold, but gold shirts will just blend in with the Gopher fans. A lot of Green shirts will stand out. And if there is a lot of green in the stands, it will help to ensure that the Gophers schedule NDSU often.

I'll be half-following the Bison/Gopher game and hope the Bison play them well. *I think the Gophers may have a tendency to look beyond and a challenge for their coach is to keep them focused.

Keep in mind Coach Monson convinced the boys at little Gonzaga that they can play with anyone so he knows what Bison Coach Miles will be doing and what he (Monson) has to fight against.

When the Bison are playing the Gophers, the 'Rabbits will be playing Illinois. *I think we learned a lot playing Kentucky on Sunday and then beating No Colorado at Rupp Arena Monday.

Rabbits play Gophers on Dec 23.

71-54. it pretty much was between 10 and 20 the whole game.

Just leaving the office to get ready for our trip to Minneapolis to watch the DI Bison basketball team play the Gophers. Boy, DI is great isn't it? The game will provide great exposure and visibility for NDSU.

My prediction isn't as positive though, the Bison are too young and will fall 82-47.

I was just at the gophers website (gopherhole.com). What a crappy site. You would think they could do better. This board and format has that beat hands down. Kudo's to NDSU and Tony for this board. I hope we can keep it close, I think with 3 starting freshman it could be tuff. If we keep it closer then 15-20 I'd be happy with that. I think Tim will have the guys ready and make a respectable showing.
