Like I said earlier the Wisconsin win happened at a better time because college football was done for the year. USC losing makes speculation of who plays in the championship the big story. Not going to get much air play out of this win. They are calling the win a stunner or upset now on the major sports webpages.

Wow. I saw the scores of the game coming across the ticker when I was watching football, and I had to wait for it to come around again so I could be sure I saw what I thought. I wish that I could have gotten to a computer so I could have listened to it, but I didn't have access to a computer at the time.

It's a huge win. The Wisconsin game last year put NDSU on the map, and this game solidifies it. It should put to rest forever any use of the word "fluke". Bring on the Mid-Con!

What Scotty Miller apparently didnt say or at least no one here commented was that the Marquette defense was tough on the Bison and caused most of those turnovers. Only Smith seemed to thrive when he had the ball. The Bison played even tougher defense than Marquette, and they had to scratch, claw, and scrape to get almost all of their points. Only a couple were layups.

What a long and fun day! Can I get some sleep now? :-/
