Carlson was a great sign, he is tearing it up right now averaging 27 points, 9 boards, 3 assists and 3 steals per game. Here is a good article about him from the Star Trib...

Well boys, I hate to break the news, but we are looking at a knee injury to Luke. He won't be playing tomorrow night, it could be the dreaded ACL. Not spreading rumors, as this is not confirmed....but it isn't looking good. If I hear anymore, I will keep everyone posted.

That sucks.
Hopefully Sam can step up and take up the slack.

MRI to be done later in the week according to Miles on WDAY TV last night. Possibly done for the season.

Their gut feel is that it is the ACL. This totally sucks. I am a big fan of what he is providing for the team this year. He isn't a superstar, but he is providing something different. He has alot of length and has had some nice ballgames with rebounds/blocks/altered shots. Hopefully Zo/Sam can step it up.

We would not have been competitive at all against high majors this season without Luke's ability to contest shots inside.
Hopefully he will recover 100% for our big push in 2007-2008 and 2008-2009.
