Section 21 is in the lowest level of Teammaker membership....the Booster level. *Each Booster membership allows you to purchase 2 seats at a cost of $200. *Another $200 would get two more seats. *So $400 in membership fees and then 4 x $100 for season tickets for a grand total of $800. *Broken down the cost would be $200 per person......not too bad. *Drinking money for one weekend......right?
The best part about Section 21 is we have a great time partying and cheering at the game. *We only had one guy puke in the stands during the game last year. * :P * If you mention you want to be in the 5th 6th or 7th row with the rest of the Teammamker Thunderzone you will get seats close to the field. * :) *

Actually, I was just going to do 2 but found a friend to buy a 3rd seat. Looking forward to it but we need to get some more home games scheduled in the dome and fast. I am surprised there isn't more talk about this. Please no DII games that are on Thursday night. Those are tough for us that are out of town, plus DII games are not much for entertainment value.

Could you get anymore balanced? I guess thats why I am a fan and not a coach. I didn't realize Vaugn played that many minutes. The majority must have come in the last 10 minutes when I had to get my tired little monster home. ;)

You really need a close game to tell what your true depth is. Any coach will be willing to sub guys in and out during a blow out like tonight. When you're in the 2nd half with 10 minutes left in the game, and your up or down by less than 5, thats when you see what your depth is. I'm guessing right now in these circumstances Miles would play his starters, or at worst starting 4 + Sam - Dre if he's in foul trouble.

Tonight's game seemed different to me in that there really wasn't starters and reserves, just difference combinations. *It didn't seem like there was a drop off as people subbed in and out. *That probably had to do with the opponent more than anything else. *But, I do think that those 8 are becoming interchangable parts. *

I like this team, just add a 7-footer to the mix, or I'd take a healthy Moormann.

Yeah, the Bison could definitely use another big man. Watching the game, I would kind of like to see a 3 guard combo of Woodside, Nelson, and Vaughn (if he could produce more offense) with Riley at the 4 and Winkleman at the 5, and then go into a trapping defense. I think with those 3, most indy schools would be overwhelmed by the speed, and there would be plenty of offense once Riley and Vaugn get going a little more.

Attendance was 2,276. Pretty typical for this kind of game. Hopefully UVSU on Saturday will break 2,500.

According to Miles, Saturday's game will be significantly more difficult. Very good team coming to the BSA....so lets pack the place. Last night, I was really hoping to have Josh Vaughn play better...or shoot the ball. According to Tim, he played his best defensive night. They track deflections, tipped balls, steals...etc. I guess he had 6 in the first half or something. He loved that. Should be a fun game, hopefully on a weekend, with nothing better to do, we will have a great crowd and pull off another victory.

I thought Vaughan looked good last night, especially the first half. He looked confident, made some nice hustle plays to extend the lead, and took a leadership role while subbing for Woodside.

Nice game for the Bison, except for turnovers and too many fouls.

It was Luke Moorman who tore his ACL, Lunde has had wrist and concussion problems.

Pennick played 33 minutes and only had 2 fouls. Earlier in the year he was fouling out in 10 or 15 minutes of play. It is a sign of improving maturity and confidence if he can keep up the defensive intensity with out fouling. He also chipped in with 7 second half points which is also a good sign.
It looked like a pretty good spread of minutes for the entire team until the "young bigs" got into foul trouble.
Solid win for the Bison.
