Watched the Extreme Team on the GoBison.com All Access webcast. Not that impressed. Didn't look like they had a routine they just talked about what to do next. Not nonstop like when the FM Acro Team performs.

Hope Miles gives them a butt chewing at half. Already let the Jacks back in the game during the last minute of the first half. Andre needs to come out and score some points in the second half and the the rest of the team needs to put in a great effort to rebuild the lead and keep it until the end of the game. This is the Jacks big game of the year and they would like nothing better than to beat a superior Bison team.

Just got back from the game. That's a really nice looking team you have there, Bison fans. They really weathered SDSU's little runs and wow can the Bison ever shoot the ball. That's the best team I've seen in Frost this year other than Utah State.

Congratulations and good luck for the rest of the season. I'll be rooting for the Bison. As an aside, I was able to sit in for the news conference, and those are some very nice young men... Woodside is a particularly impressive player and person.

That appears to be what makes them a good team. They like each other and play as a team. They don't feel like they have to score this many points each night if a teamate has a better night than they do they feed him. They are unselfish and it shows since they are the only division I team in the nation with 4 players averaging double figures in scoring. It was also refreshing to see them take and extend the lead while Andre Smith was on the bench with 2 fouls.

I was at the game and was impressed by your team. You have alot of weapons and your guys can definitely fill it up. I think a big reason for the foul disparity is the fact that the majority of your shots were jump shots while alot of ours were drives to the basket. As good as the Bison were shooting tonight you could have beat about anyone on the country. I think there was a point midway through the second half where the Bison were still shooting over 65% for the game, just insane.

We had a couple of players who just didn't show up to play. Cadwell put up some very bad shots, and he and Callahan combined to go something like 3-17 from the field. Kai Williams had another very good game and had a sweet alley-oop dunk off the inbounds in the first half. Going to enjoy watching him for another 3 years.

NDSU was definitely the better team tonight, and put together a solid 40 minutes. The Jacks biggest problem right now is consistency, as it has been all year. We competed pretty well for about 25 minutes, those 5 minute stretches at a time killed us again as they have been all season.

The big win by the women takes a little of the sting away, but still sucks to have such a poor showing in Frost tonight for the men.

The biggest problem for the Jacks last night was Mike Nelson. Not only did he score 24 points, but he played tough D on Cadwell for most of the night, forcing Cadwell to throw up quite a few ugly shots.

NDSU's guards totally outplayed our guards. Nelson was great, but so was Woodside, who took Callahan out of the game completely. NDSU's guards shut down our penetration, and our inside game is so weak that NDSU didn't have to double-team much underneath. Your 4s and 5s just played straight up on our guys and shut them down, too. I'd like to see NDSU get an NIT bid. I don't know how possible that is, but the Bison are better than Central Florida, a team that will make either the NCAA or NIT easily this year.

NIT is not gonna happen for us this year, *If we could have beat Texas Tech(lost by 4) or K-State or Colorado State(both Lost by 2). *And we won't talk about the last second shot against K-State. *If we could have won two of those games and got to 20 wins (D1 wins) I think we would have been a lock for an NIT berth.

After 2 full days in Brookings I can say this. Cubbies is awesome. The refs did their best late in the first half to keep this close, but the teams are not on the same level (neither are the women!). The Bison simply dominated the entire game. Like I said, the refs tried (the short ref tried anyway), but eventually the better team dominated the game. It was a laugher. The atmosphere was a joke. NO home court advdantage at all. Last year it was wild. THis year, not even close to a sellout. Congrats to the women for beating our women, but if 99% of fans had their choice, they would pick the mens program to be better than a women's program. That is a fact. We get more recognition over our big wins, than SDSU will get to go to the NIT. ON a sidenote...and this will sound arrogant and is arrogant, they really put on a classy deal, but it is very D2. SMALLTOWN. They auctioned off a pig. CORRECT. At halftime they auctioned off a pig and took bids. It took about 20 minutes. PIG WAS HUGE. This just seemed so smalltown. I am not sure if it was tradition or something, but come on. Very similar to when I went down to watch football two years ago, you just park in an open lot and act like you are at We Fest....which is fun, just very different to bigtime athletics at many other schools. Hester just took the opening kick to the house for the Bears.......unreal. One final thing.....the guy sitting in front of us at the game says...."I am so sick of playing these studs for NDSU, they are good.....I said.....There isn't a kid older than a sophomore on the court." Classic. I also ran into a person from Pierre SD and asked him about Twiedt.....guy said he is a future star and a great kid. NICE. Great weekend to dominate.

The pig auction is a tradition at SDSU. I have seen it many times over the past years. They also have a halftime auction during the football "beef bowl" game.
