Just got back from the game....my second game this season after the Winston-Salem State game, WHOO-HOO!

Appeared to be a little sloppy in the first half. *Should've put the game away a little earler in my opinion.

Nice contingent of Bison fans there. *I counted around 40-45. *I also estimated there to be about 150 - 200 NJIT fans there.

Another less than impressive venue. *bleacher seats on one side of the court. *No stands on the other side (behind the benches). *Both WSSU and NJIT basketball arenas make the BSA look pretty nice....big anyway.

Got to spend some time before the game across the river in Manhattan and Brooklyn, very cool. *Newark, NJ on the other hand is not cool.

Nice contingent of Bison fans there. *I counted around 40-45. *I also estimated there to be about 150 - 200 NJIT fans there.

Another less than impressive venue. *bleacher seats on one side of the court. *No stands on the other side (behind the benches). *Both WSSU and NJIT basketball arenas make the BSA look pretty nice....big anyway.

Got to spend some time before the game across the river in Manhattan and Brooklyn, very cool. *Newark, NJ on the other hand is not cool.




Hearing things like this scare me that we will eventually have a midmajor D1 level similar to the subdivison in football. I am glad NDSU did it right. Make the move and upgrade the facilities, or stay D2. I hate the wanna bes. They are watering down the midmajors. >:(

Just a word to those who faithfully recorded the somewhat-play-by-play of the game tonight and other games.
I know the discussion came up tonight--"Why keep updating the score, buddy, it's just me-n-u and I can hear the game."

Well, thanks to those who do report on the game as it is happening, some of us can come home after not being able to login at gametime and get a good feel for how the game went. Believe me, you get a more real feel for the game by reading the message board posts than you do the news releases. Plus, sometimes, folks like me want to check out what happened in the game just after it's over and before the news releases are posted.

So, thanks to those who take their turn on reporting the game live as it happens, even if "no one else is here" at game time.

I echo those statements. Sometimes, the feed is not available, and I cannot listen (e.g. overseas in Iraq). I then turn to reading the posts (constantly refreshing the page) to keep up to date. thanks to everyone who participates!!

I agree, you guys do a great job. I can't always listen to the game, and it is good to go back through the thread and read the commentary. Says a lot more than what you get from the paper! Keep it up!
