WDAY 970 AM will be broadcasting the Miles-CSU press conference live beginning at 5:05 PM.

Want to compete with the big boys...

I'm a goal driven person.....

Broke down when talking about the meeting last night with the Bison players....

Joked that a goal for 2008 will be a CSU-NDSU matchup in the NCAA tournament.

As a CSU alum and fan, I'm excited to have Tim in Fort Collins - listening to his press conference is getting me excited for the MBB season - not something that's happened much in the past few seasons.

Easy to hear how hard it was for him to leave NDSU and his team to make this move - he got pretty emotional there.

Miles was talking about why he took the job, mentioned the weather, and told the press he left his wood chipper in Fargo (movie reference). Thought that was pretty funny.

Only one Bison assistant they are talking to and that is Dave Richman, who has yet to decide if he'll take an assistant job. Miles said he is a rising star.

I don't think this really hit me until I am listening to the press conference and he is yucking it up about what hes going to do for CSU. I am really going to miss Miles. He's a diamond in the ruff. :-[

FORT COLLINS — Colorado State’s new coach Tim Miles said Thursday that he "wants to compete with the big boys," but was tearful when he talked about leaving North Dakota State.
"Last night I met with some guys (at North Dakota State) that mean a lot to me," Miles said during a news conference. "I’m not going to coach them any more. I am going to miss them. They are going to do well."
