But NDSU doesn't have hockey, but NDSU doesn't have hockey. Huck fockey man! Football is THE American sport and hockey is for inbred canucks and those that suck. Michigan has the all time best hockey program in the nation (9 NC's) but everybody knows football is king there. The hockey argument has no merit whatsoever so keep it over on the sucksports.com site, losers. America knows that football kicks ass over hockey and anybody who would argue that is either delusional and/or a SUCK fan.

umm....i haven't heard anything about NDSU shooting for hockey for about....well....many years. Where do you see we are starting the hockey talk? I see a lot of chatter about the DI move....

Really, airmail.....show me where recently we are talking about hockey. If you show me a recent article about NDSU and hockey, then I will submit before your wide knowledge on NDSU athletics and admit that we are ACTIVELY searching for a hockey program....Otherwise, don't label me as ignorant.

I don't know everything about the world, but then again I live in a reality were the whole universe doesn't center upon me. Thus, I am real unlike others who may post on this board and are fans of a team 75 miles north of Fargo.

Bob Entzion, for AD for NDSU, was the ONLY individual who pushed for NDSU to get hockey. Nobody else cared, which was made evident when the F-M tax base voted the retarded idea down. Some more facts of note regarding Entzion: he had a well documented, ongoing public squabble with Rocky Hager and eventually fired him. He was arrested in Omaha, NE for soliciting (gay) prostitution from an undercover police officer. And, last but certainly not least, Bob Entzion came to NDSU via UND. He is a sioux product.

I thought it was longer but nevertheless it hasn't been brought up in 3 years....I don't see where hockey has a big following here at NDSU. *Three years ago before Bob "I like dudes" Entzion is pushed out Fargo was chatting about it, but the resounding vote against the hockey upgrades to the FargoDome says it all. *NDSU does not want hockey except for a minor proportion who continues to bring it up. *Personally, I don't want to see NDSU get hockey because it takes money away from everything else. *Would it be fun to play the Siouxage on the ice? *Perhaps yes, but I prefer football and wrestling with a occasional basketball game thrown in for fun....

thing about the vote...was that the original tax was to include hockey. they didnt do it...went back to the people and got spanked. rightfully so. if you tell the people the Dome will include hockey...built it and go back on your word...it takes BALLS to come back with you hand open again. its not that peopel are against hockey. its' about putting the screws to them again and again

Am I to understand from your post that Fargo voters rejected the hockey upgrades due to the fact it should have been done during initial construction of the FargoDome? Interesting, if that is true, that they didn't think of that when constructing....talk about stupid foresight. Oh well, I like the Dome for football instead of hockey.

Yep I'm pretty sure that the Fargodome was sold to voters the first time as "we will put hockey in there". Then 10 years later they say, "we need more money for a hockey facility"

I thought you, BisonMav, would have the good sense to disregard the "bridges" people. You seem more intelligent than that.

(I mean really... taking a picture of someone walking on the floor logos, and calling it disgraceful, is a stretch)

The Minnesota has a similar issue, take Denny's money and his stipulations, or they won't get his money for a new football stadium.
