Each time I make a correction or addition to the site, I'll post it here.
First correction, it's not fixed yet but here's the gist of the problem (thanks to the good folks at Montana State for figuring most of it out):
1. NDSU has played Montana five times, not the three that both my site and the Bison Media Guide show.
2. Two of the games (1921 and 1941) that are listed as being played against Montana State were really played against Montana. Apparently Montana was known as Montana State University until the 1960's and Montana State was Montana State College.
3. Here's where it gets really odd...
The NDSU media guide has 33 games (12-21) between Montana State and NDSU.
However, I've got 34 (12-22) and I used the media guide's data. 'Course now I have 32 (12-20).
Montana State says NDSU has played them 29 times (13-15-1). A tie?
Anybody have a Montana State Media guide? I suppose that they might not be counting some games against NDAC and therefore have five more wins against NDSU than they know.
NDSU's extra win and tie don't make as much sense. Maybe, like so many people mistake, Montana State mistook UND for NDSU so that the extra loss and tie might have been against them.
