Saw this article in the Forum:

Blais still wants Schultz off Sioux events (http://www.in-forum.com/articles/?id=25828)

I laughed when I read Blais asked "Where's the loyalty?" of Schultz. I guess Bison fans know better from past experience. Perhaps Eddie can be the prodigal son returning and do the Dragon games at Moorhead State.

NDSU students didn't need him to get hired as UND's loudmouthed hatchetman to know he was a jackass.

From what I hear, Eddie has been taking worse shots at NDSU's president nearly every day and nobody at UND had a problem with that.

It was interesting to read is "bio" from the perspective of a Sioux fan. It seems to imply he started broadcasting immediatlely after graduating from MSU. Didn't he play in the CFL for Winnipeg for a few years?

The author also mentions the hunting incident with his dog, but fails to mention that it became a favorite chant of NDSU students - "Ed shot his dog!".

During the 80's Ed used to do more than just cover the Bison for WDAY. I remember more than one football party that both he and Dana Mogck were belllying up to the keg at the "Moderation Palace".

I seam to remember that Eddie took a brief leave to tryout for the New York Giants. I don't think he was mad that someone threw an empty bottle at him. He was mad that it was empty. Went into the crowd looking for more. Sure hope he stays where he is at.
