It's amazing how much better the 2005/2006 schedules look than last year in all sports.

University of Washington and the Gophers were Final Four participants.

It kind of sucks that the Doublewood Inn classic at home is the same weekend that I will be in Louisiana for a football game >:(

But other than that, the schedule looks great. *With the first football game being played on thurs sept 1st, I can make it to the games at the U of Minnesota the following two days!

It's not a spectator sport.

I mean, what else do you watch? Youth swimming?
I watch Olympic Swimming where the girls ages are from 16 on up.

IT IS A SPECTATOR SPORT. WHY DOES THE FINAL FOUR SELLOUT? ROAD WARRIOR IS ONE DEDICATED FAN,HE DOESN'T MISS ANY FOOTBALL GAMES AND A LOYAL TEAMMAKER. DA BISON YOU ARE OUT OF LINE. THESE YOUNG WOMEN ARE ATHLETES SOMETHING YOU MST NOT KNOW ABOUT.

Volleyball is a very exciting sport to watch. The women that play it are very talented. The action is fast paced and the games move quickly. I will most likely check the Bison women out when they play Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri next season.

I assume you're talking about this:

Yep that is correct. SMS is now Missouri State University.

I would be surprised if some of those volleyball games
didn't draw up to 2000 fans :)

They just officially changed their name this year. The governor of Missouri signed it into law on March 17 which is the date their school was officially formed. They are currently known as Southwest Missouri State University (SMS) and will not officially change everything until the next school year. I live in Springfield, Missouri and my office is in the SMS alumni building. I think I would know. :o

First of all, the schedule looks great and might be an indication that NDSU's problems with scheduling in the first year will be short-lived.

Second of all, I deleted about a dozen posts on this thread which no longer had any context now that greeenandgold01 has removed the idiotic posts to which they were responding. As he followed that up by removing himself from the memberlist, it is very likely that I won't be doing this kind of mass editing as frequently.

I left a couple posts in even though they are non-sequiturs now. Besides, it's interesting to know that SWMSU has changed to Missouri State and, of course, the booty of Amanda Beards is without a known peer and should be celebrated in both verse and prose.
