42 year old Virgil Hill won the WBA cruiserweight title today, beating a previously undefeated Russian, Valery Brudov.

There is apparently still a little bit of gas left in the tank.

I grew up watching Virgil too. He had a few big victories in the Bismarck Civic Center back in the day. It would be cool to see his last fight there in front of a sell out crowd.

What do they get for attendance in the CICIC CENTER for a sell out fight? 15k?

Probably around 10K with both balconies full. I think they got 8K before they added a balcony on each end.
