I saw a link to this while lurking on SiouxSports.com. It was posted by a guy from UNI who has been engaging in discussions about UND moving up (he would like to see UND and NDSU in the Gateway conference).

The piece on USD is about 3/4 of the way down the page (search for "Standing Pat"). It is interesting reading on their decision and points out the "fear of change" rationale in USD's arguments. I tried to cut and paste the excerpt, but then I can't post this message (it complains it is too long).
