Here is a map of the U.S. showing what states have I-AA teams. Currently, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Colorado do not have teams. I have added these three states since these three all will in just over a year in UNC, NDSU & SDSU. The midwest is very poorly represented by I-AA schools. There are the states as of the fall of 2004.
