The Montana fans probably never left the bars in Bozeman due to their severe state of depression after losing to the cats twice in a row

On a serious note.. I think the reason early playoff attendance may be a little lower is that fans don't know who when and if their team will be playing.. selections are made 6 days before the game which doesn't allow them to plan ahead...

did Southern and Grambling actually play in front of 70K... wow :o :o

Also remember that the students in Missoula were on Thanksgiving breat last weekend. That would account for a lot of missing fans.

If you want to use that excuse for Montana, it is a viable one for UND. Thanks for bringing that to the table. ;D

That's why the SWAC doesn't participate in the I-AA playoffs.

I doubt that the percentage of UND students attending a FB game approaches that of the Griz.
