State Funding?

I caught an article that said UMass gets 45% of its budget ($12.5 mil) from the state I thought that seemed pretty high. Does anybody know how much money NDSU gets from the state for athletics? a link would be greatly appreciated :)

Hopefully it's 0%. How dare the state take money from the people?!directly or indirectly athletics is funded by the state. As a state operated institution. The buildings etc all will have some smell of state funding--which is why some tried to get the ND State legislature to stop SU from D1 move.

I'd like to see anyone find a line item in any North Dakota spending bill that funds athletics at any state institution. While many states do this, Iowa included, I know ND politics well enough to know that any funding is relatively small if existent.

The move to DI is going to be funded by fans.
