From the looks of it I would say that NDSU and SDSU look like a natural fit with the Big Sky states......I am sure I will hear from Bisonfan1234 on this ;)

Ok, I'll admit that nomenclature is a pet peeve of mine (surprise). *The NCAA (not nCaA) specifically voted for roman numerals and proper respect is shown by typing it correctly...I-AA.

As for the map, I live in one of the few fringe areas of I-AA...Chicago. *:-/

You might think that simply by looking at the state, however the nearest montana schools are way over in the western part of of MT while NDSU and SDSU are practically both in MN and IA.

It could go either way for Gateway or Big Sky in NDSU's case for a D1-AA conference.
