Did anybody else hear the interview with Roger Thomas at halftime of the sue game? He basically gave the "playoff criteria" as the main reason of not wanting to play the Bison. He also talked about the price gouging as pure economics. The only reason they are doing it is becaues they can't fill the alerus without the Bison!

I was disapointed in Newberry I thought that they had enough in them to really stick it to the sue but...

Newbury is like 15-46 in the last 4-5 years. This includes
4 or 5 wins against NAIA competition.

Next year the playoff field is expanding to 26 teams and NDSU/SDSU will not be in the mix. The sue sox have a virtual lock on an automatic spot with or without a BISON game.

Thomas is once again providing misinformation in order to cover the true motivations. Its a shame and revealing the character of the man and the institution.
