I thought that the crowd supprt was great. The most I have seen in a long time. Is it because they are selling beer now?

I was not in the student section this game but rather section 27. I want to Thank the older gentlemen that was two or three rows behind yelling "let's make some noise" He has to read posts on this forum!! THANK YOU!! I tried standing to get the crowd pumped but that really didn't work well!

Let's keep up the rowdiness for the SDSU game!!!

I got into a little trouble in my section. My mother patted my knee a couple of times, she thought I might have been a little loud. The lady in front glared at me a couple of times (+60), but she can get different seats, the other lady in front of me was up all the time, we got along fine, and the people around me were generally in the game all the way. Hopefully we are flushing the odd balls out. I wasnt profane, just loud. I have the gift. I was with the team. If they cant take that they had better stay home. Its a football stadium for crying out loud. Thats why I paid my money, to have a great time at the ball game. I thought the crowd was good.

A large majority of fans sitting on their hands in my section and also the adjacent one. I've been sitting in the same section since the Dome opened and I have to say that I have not seen any change in the vocal support emanating from 33 and 34. Perhaps I am too old to be leaving each game with no voice (other than MSMhd and Mngside), but I always thought the fans created the atmosphere. It is our DUTY to yell (and stomp if you're in the metal section). THey should stamp something on the ticket: "This ticket is a privilege, not a right, you are here to cheer and not merely to leer."

Things were a little better in my section this game. We even got some standing at our prompt for a big 3rd down play. I do miss the standing ovations the defense USED to get ( I still do) I think this will take some time, however if we can see improvement each and every game on this, we may win the war against the deadbeats. I agree with everyone's comments about the sponsor ad's, I realize they contribute a lot of $, however the announcement timing is terrible and takes the crowd out of the game. Should be listening to the band etc instead. GO BISON

There was about 15 guys in my section (21) in the front couple of rows that would stand up on third downs. Unfortunately, a few rows up, I'm surrounded by the geriatric crowd.

I was in the south end zone and had a blast.

Really, I don't know what more we can do with the team maker sections other than give them pillows so at least they're comfortable sleeping.

Overall the crowd was good, but sooner or later we all have to realize that more and more, the Bison are going to need some sort of home field advantage! The days of falling asleep watching the herd whomp on Morningside are over!

I feel I need to defend Team Makers a little bit. I do agree people need to yell and scream more. Myself...I take offense saying Team Maker sections are quiet. Just so you know....there are a few of us (myself) screaming throughout the game. It isn't a good game unless you lose your voice.

After halftime, the contest for the loudest section was won by section 4. What crap. There was nobody in section 4. The student sections were going nuts, and they give free cheesey bread to the Teammakers section. I'd guess they've got the dough *to buy cheesey bread. oh well.....one of the perks of being a Teammaker. :P

Trust me Team Makers are not all rich. The lowest amount to give for Team Makers is $100. Team Makers is simply an organization who believe in giving to Athletics. Everyone should get involved with Team Makers!!!

I'm a TeamMaker and I'm not rich. My father is a TeamMaker and is retired on a fairly fixed income.

Section 4 isn't one of the high dollar sections, anyhow. If Tony's section won it would be a different story ;).

Myself...I take offense saying Team Maker sections are quiet. *Just so you know....there are a few of us (myself) screaming throughout the game. *It isn't a good game unless you lose your voice. *

Believe me, no offense meant to any individual in those sections--I know that there are exceptions, but let's not kid ourselves. As a whole, the team maker sections are less than vocal and oftentimes rather complacent.

Every time I've had the distinction of occupying a seat in these sections I've been told to sit down and/or be quiet. Even in third-and-long defensive situations, and celebrating touchdowns, and congratulating the defense or special teams for a job well done. To me this is counterproductive to building team spirit and atmosphere. If you want to sit and go to sleep, fine, but don't stop fans from enjoying the game and showing their support for their team. Just my $0.02.

I also found it humorous that section 4 was voted the loudest in the house. Not that I care about cheesy bread, but anyone who thinks there is a louder section in the dome than the student section (especially when it comes to free food) is somehow impaired.

The TeamMaker sections have the highest average age, as a lot of them are retired and have extra money to spend. Maybe the NDSU staff need to rethink the promotions. How about free Viagra samples for the TeamMakers section that is loudest during the entire game? That should be able to get some of the older men and women to make some noise. ;D

Well, that would give a whole new meaning to "Everybody up for the kickoff, the march is on!", now, wouldn't it... ;)

I sit in section 4, its full of team makers and gets into the game both in front and in back of me. *Most of you probably dont remember (for one reason or another) the dynamic that existed at old Dacotah field. *

The south stands where the students sat was, at least before the whiskey bottle hit ed, was loud and wild, at least behind the rail. *In front of the rail were the folding chairs. *Reserved for team makers. *It was pretty quiet. *The north stands were all reserved as well. *Dead. *Its that way at a lot of stadiums, * PSU included.

The key is to go to the game and enjoy yourself. *I dont know what to do about incompatable neighbors, there are a couple in section 4 too. *I guess they will have to move.

OK all of you young ,loud, boisterous stallions, keep in
mind that 40 years ago these same teamakers were
young, loud, boisterous stallions themselves. Also
remember these same folks opened their wallets and
promoted Bison athletics to what they are today. So maybe they feel they can sit back and enjoy. Now
the torch is being passed and it is up to you fellas
to open your wallets and continue the rich tradition of
of Bison Athletics. Screaming and hollering alone doesn't pay one penney toward a student athletes
scholarship. Open your wallets please.

We youngin's do forget what it took to get NDSU athletics where they are today. I plan on becoming a team maker in the near future. I want to see them win a National Championship in D-1AA. Thanks for your contribution as I have truly enjoyed watching SU football over the past 3 years I have been at SU.

i think a lot of the fans think this is a big social gathering- and forget it is a football game- it is great to have 5000 extra fans at a game that probably wouldnt be there if it wasnt for the dome- but then a lot of those 5000 fans arent there for the game- i had a lady sitting in front of me READING A BOOK!!!- she kept giving me dirty looks then said to the person next to her that itwas getting rediculous how i was yelling and acting- i politely told the lady that this is a football game and if she wants to read a book she should go to the library- after about 50 people within earshot stopped cheering- she got up and left. I wish i would have had her address.....i would send her info on how to get Sue season tix

Im so tired of this converstation. If you cant go to the game and enjoy yourself stay home. Whats in it for you? If you think others have an obligation to act the way you think they should maybe you should become a preacher. We all need saving. Get with the program, enjoy yourself at the game and deal with any problems that come up.

I love it now that Dacotah Field is under tha Fabulous Fargo Dome. Learn where to mix your drinks, if you need them. give it hell if you think the BISON need it, and let the devil take the hindmost.

Just like the Rolling Stones said "Why do I live my life this way? Jesus will save me anyway? Aint that the truth?" Get with it and have a good time. to hell with everbody else. When your louder than me welcome to the club.
