shotgun?

Does any know why The Herd haven't use the shotgun formation at all this year? I have only been to the 3 home games, I don't recall any use of this formation. Does anybody think that we will ever see a 5 WR formation? Stauss has all the abilities to handle it and we have the depth at WR. Would be interesting to see them run that play once!

I've wondered that too. I think it has a lot to do with timing and what Stauss feels comfortable with. I think with the QB taking the snap under center, quick passes are easier to get the timing down on. There has to be some reason.
