For the benefit of Bison fans not able to get to Grand Forks on Saturday (either due to schedules or protest of the high ticket prices) what local establishment in the Fargo Moorhead area will have the most vocal fans? Playmakers, Coaches, Buffalo Wild Wings or Reebs (sp) are a few that come to mind as possibilities.

Chub's was always pretty crazy for Bison-sue. Not really a sports bar though.

Chubby's is a good bet. I was there before the Omaha game (yes, getting drunk at 10 AM :o) and it looked like Mardi Gras. People with colors, beads and even pink feather boas. Now ya gotta love that! The free chili rocks, too. Stay away from Playmakers because it's usually overrun with SUCK fans, at least in my experience. Chub's has less TV's, of course, but for good old BISON atmosphere, it takes Playmakers, hands down. The Turf is always good as well, and there are also a lot of BISON fans at Rooters on Broadway.

O'Learys is ok but Chubs is the tradtion. The Bowler is ok and so is the Silver Dollar Bar in West Fargo. They stopped their free chilie though, and their free shots when the BISON score. havent been back since.

We used to set our alarms on Saturday morning so we could make Chub's when it opened at 8 am. Pretty tough crowd. The night shift from the Country Hearth Bakery across the street was just getting off, and most of those guys would be there. Ah the good old days.
