Great Season

With the Winona St win the season is all but officially over. What a great season. I can't help but think what if we had beaten Cal-Davis. Sure we still would've lost to the Sioux and the Huskies...but we might actually be in the playoffs.

The Fat Lady sings tomorrow. The season will officially end if NDSU is not chosen. It's been a great season so far, and a great turnaround for the Mighty Bison.

Even if the regional committee votes us in...do you honestly think the national committee won't vote in Winona instead? That very thing happened in 2001.

Like i said before...if it comes down to it...the Bison are gunna get the shaft. Peopel don't like us because of our past success and because we're leaving D2.

You can think what you want. I'm holding out until tomorrow at noon. The pollsters didn't drop us for losing to St. Cloud State, they might give us a fourth seed.

Very true, but at least NDSU has a voice in the regional committee this year. Maybe they will bump one of the MIAA teams if they lose (Pitt. St ?) Then the NSIC will still get their spot.

If NDSU is in a position for a playoff spot, Taylor steps out and the NCC commissioner (Mike Marcil) will take his spot

You would think so, he is probably not real happy we are leaving though. The national committee got their team (winona) into the playoffs, so I doubt they would care who else got in

I haven't commented much on this years team since unfortunately I haven't seen any games in person. But, one thing I love about this team is they are consistenly prepared for the game, which could not be said for the Babich era. Finally a recent Bison team that overachieved compared with preseason expectations. They won the games they were supposed to win and pulled an upset over Montana. I kind of wish we had one more year in DII with this coaching staff.

I agree with your assessment of the coaches, however it would be nice if they gave their halftime speech before the game. These stats are prior to today's game
