Hard to believe the game wasn't on tv and they still didn't get 8000 fans.

I'm thinking we'll get 12,000+ for this week's game with Grand Valley State. Will UND draw 10,000? I don't get it.

I think UND's attendance will be up this week, but i am not sure how much as the game is on tv... in the semis in 01 they drew 11,696 after drawing 6,700 in the first round and 8,222 in the second. North Alabama is a "big" name in d2 football so i would put the over/under on attendance at 10,500

Those are really good numbers for DII - maybe some of the best ever. Good news for DII.

There is a thread on the I-AA site about attendance numbers for their first round games. WKU only had about 3000 in attendance. Pretty terrible for the defending champs. OTOH, UM and UD both had about 17,000-18,000.

Now those are attendance numbers, no 500 people in the stands for a Northern Sun game.

Well, have you figured in NDSU fans wanting to go see the Sioux get pasted? Could push those numbers up...

The only guarantee is that the Alerus will lose money. 8)

Just had an idea.

The waterpark could be built in the Alerus so Forks folks could use it year round, maybe generate some revenue.

I think this weekend, the Alerus will be full as people can jump on the bandwagon. The past two weeks, there has been no excuse. People should've been there. As far as the numbers for 2001, I don't know how accurate they are. The Alerus people didn't know how to count or something as the UC-Davis game had more people at it then an NDSU game does.

The Alerus people didn't know how to count or something \*

Maybe why they continue to lose money :-/ , however I do expect the bandwagon to pick up steam this weekend. My attendance estimate (drum roll)

10,975

We won't argue with you if you say people in GF don't know how to count.

They also can't drive. But that's a different story. Hell nobody from North Dakota can drive. Damn near got run over by about 10 of those morons at the game last weekend.

Even if thats true, and Im not sure it is, you have to remember that ticket prices were raised to $27.50 for the NDSU game.

I meant compared to the 2001 Bison game, the UC-Davis game had more people. *Both games were sold out, but the overlook had more people for the UC-Davis game.

And I was in my blue car when I was nearly hit by all these morons. *They are all as blind as moles.

Blue car, ah.... that was you. Sorry. ;D

Seriously, it was probably Eddie, he shot his dog ya know. Also, he almost ran a guy off the road last summer with his big cruiser. "Dan the man" must of distracted him and he didn't see your blue car. You will be safer next year as he wouldn't be calling the Sioux games.

If you think people in ND can't drive, come to Iowa. Bar none the worst drivers in the world.

Here you load and clear.

I see at least ten drivers a day who haven't learned what a turn signal is.
