Kind of strange how Hecknchuck gets all the props. If this were d1 he wouldn't get much support ala BJSymons from Texas Tech or Dinwoodie, because his team isnt' a winner.

oh well whatever

Technically, i don't think you're that far off on how it *is* in D2....

the problem comes from that Heckendorf was a finalist last year and his team was supposed to be good...but they ended up not being good...

but whoops! You can't not give it to him this year and have given it to him last year when they were supposed to take the NCC with ease...

was reading through the bio on the Tusculum DB/return dude. Still can't believe they lose to NDSU and one other team=no playoffs.

Looking back they were as quality opponent as any NCC team....

oh well

that was d2

Tusculum isn't that good.

They have a couple good guys and that's it. We proved that by destroying them.

The only teams in their conference that are good are CN and Catawba.

2003 Schedule and Results (9-2)

8/30/2003 North Dakota State 7-28
9/6/2003 Elon 17-3
9/13/2003 Morehouse 65-10
9/27/2003 Charleston Southern 58-7
10/4/2003 Wingate 55-16
10/11/2003 Presbyterian 35-27
10/18/2003 Newberry 39-9
10/25/2003 Carson-Newman 27-18
11/1/2003 Catawba 22-27
11/8/2003 Lenoir-Rhyne 28-23
11/15/2003 Mars Hill 31-7

I disagree---they beat 1AA Elon, Carson Newman--lost to Catawba and NDSU if there is such a thing as quality loss. They have 2. Our loss to SCSU looks worse

at least to me

NM then...if they did beat CN then i guess they are relatively good.

However i don't think beating Elon will get you much these days.

from the i need a life file ;D
the beauty of common opponents and what could've been:

NDSU over Tusc
Tusc over Elon
Elon over Hofstra
Hofstra over Villanova
Vill over Temple
Temple lost by 2 to Va.Tech
Va Tech over Miami

and there you have it
NDSU could hang with Miami!

hey this Will Hall from North Alabama may very well put on a clinic in GF this weekend, leads the nation with a 70.1% completion of passes, has thrown for over 2500 yards and is a running threat. There always seem to be plenty of seating at a sue game, might be fun to go watch this kid play and dismantle the sue secondary.

I would guess Hall, but I would like to see Kammrad win.

Heckendorf was named to the First team academic all american college division yesterday. Another SCSU Husky was named to the second team. Im sorry but I cant remember his name. Congratulations.

None of them are even in the same league as Jeff Bentrim or Chris Simdorn.

And the winner is Will Hall from UNA. And I agree with your last post here BisonMav.
