UMD's announcement??

I have not been following the D2 football scene very much lately. What announcement was made by UMD that would have affected UND's NC game? Did UMD hire away one of the coaches from UND?

They announced on Friday that Mussman and Schweigert were finalists (with 2 others) for their job. Apparently, RT had talked to them or something and asked that they wait until after the game. Also, either Mussman or Bubba had said that they hadn't applied. Kind of a stupid situation all together.

Randy Hedberg denied that he applied for the NDSU head coach spot, until after Bohl was named the head coach.
