Does anybody remember who the finalists were in 1997 for the head coach position? Just curious about who Babich beat out, and where those candidates are today.

No other candidates were considered.

Entzion brought Morton on board to assist him in getting
rid of Rocky. He also somehow convinced the man of
principle, Ed Schultz, to come over to his side. Thus
Morton was rewarded by being able to name the next
head coach, his good friend Bob Babich.
