The bison will miss him, he was a good coach.

NDSU assistant football coach leaving

The Associated Press - 01/09/2004
FARGO, N.D.

North Dakota State University offensive coordinator Dan Enos is leaving to take an assistant coach position with the University of Cincinnati.

Enos also was the quarterbacks coach for the Bison. That likely will be his role at Cincinnati under new head coach Mark Dantonio, the former defensive coordinator at Ohio State.

Enos joined the NDSU staff last year after three seasons as an assistant at Western Michigan. The former Michigan State quarterback has coached at several other schools, including Southwest Missouri State, Southern Illinois and Northern Michigan.

NDSU head coach Craig Bohl said Friday that a search will begin immediately for Enos' replacement.

He's a good coach - did a great job making the offense work and never panicked. Good to see him moving up a division.

There's probably quite a few Nebraska assistants that will be out of a job. I wonder if any one of them would care to pad their resume at SU.

I wish he would have stuck around a few years, but knew he would be moving on sooner or later. Best of luck in Cincy.

He is a good coach, and he was appreciated. Good Luck with the Bearcats.
