According to the SDSU message board, it was 14 pounds of marijuana. This thread may find its way to the smack board.

Who was the player who got caught?

Junior RB Anthony Robinson. *Here is the story from the Aberdeen paper. *I believe he was on his way to or home from Omaha. Maybe he can tranfer to UNO. Does this free up his scholarship??

SDSU football player charged with pot distribution

Associated Press

BROOKINGS, S.D. - A scholarship football player at South Dakota State University is accused of getting caught with 14 pounds of pot.

Anthony Robinson, 23, of Fontana, Calif., is charged with distribution of more than 1 pound of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute more than a pound, and a less serious distribution charge.

The three counts combined carry a maximum penalty of 35 years in prison and $35,000 in fines.

Robinson was arrested Friday and is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.

Robinson, a junior, is a backup running back at SDSU.

I enjoy your attempt at humor here and I must have about a half dozen Cheech and Chong LPs some where. I have enjoyed Cheech and CHong humor for a long time. "Dave Who, Daves not here". I going to be moving soon so may find my LP's and record them on to tape or cd That said, I fear this is kind of tragic situtation. Anthony Robinson was apparently living a double life. One person on the Jackrabbit Board said he was doing real well academically and wanted to earn his degree. Today's Argus Leader article seems to indicate some what of a double life and he has been in business for a while. I dont think the police would single him out for a sting unless they had a good reason. Here is today's story.

I feel bad for Coach Stig and staff and the other players on the roster who live a clean lifestyle.

Well, no doubt he was dealing if he had 14 lbs. I guess if there is a good side it is that he was not a coach.....like the coach from Montana State that got nailed for dealing meth last year. I guess I am a bit to the left, but a player selling pot looks a little better than a coach dealing meth....albeit, not much better. ???

I'm not the one trying to tell people how to live.

Let people take responsibilty for themselves and you just mind your own business.

I think that he was simply doing some research on using hemp to improve the quality of FieldTurf.

Stupid government!

I think It's great that your morals are so high, but that still doesn't mean you should get to tell other people how to live.

I think It's great that your morals are so high, but that still doesn't mean you should get to tell other people how to live.

So it's okay for someone to walk into your house and steal your money, shoot your dog etc. *Afterall the government shouldn't tell people how to live their lives.

1234 logic

You're the type of person who would simply let someone walk into your house and shoot your dog?!

Pretty cowardly if you ask me.

Maybe we should invoke a new rule for the board?

Whenever 1234 posts or replies to a post, it automatically becomes a smack thread.

I'm getting real tired of his moronic ranting >:(
