Looks like the advertising for the first DI game in the Fargodome has begun. No billboards or TV ads yet, but this rather large banner is on the north side of the BSA-
the outside Fargodome videoboards have also been running "First DI game in the dome" ads, as well

Well played! I'm really happy to see the way the Bison are pushing the envelope (at least for Fargo) in their marketing this year. I think they're doing what they can to make Bison games THE place to be--maybe that brings some more real fans into the building instead of the masses of oxygen-consuming stuffshirts that tell others around them to sit down and be quiet.

As long as someone pays for the seat, I don't care if they can't stand and can't talk.

There's a good feature on the WDAY 5:00 news about the advertising campaign and a glimpse of the 2004 TV ad. It's at 6:30 into the newscast-http://www.wday.com/

Some highlights-
Advertising is up about $30,000
The TV ad looks good
Advertising will reach more of ND and farther into Minnesota
New advertising techniques- restaurants with NDSU schedule coasters, etc.

There will be more about it on the 6:00 news.

Edit- that should read, "There will be more about it on the 10:00 news."

When I ordered my tixs, I asked if they had media posters. They did!! I recieved 5 posters, 2 days after placing my order. They are a great design, though a bit like last years but worlds ahead of the 2002 posters!!

I was so happy to be moving 26 rows closer to the field I never even thought to ask for media posters. :'(

I would agree that the new posters are cool and even the billboards with the picture are nice. I especially like that on the poster they recognized our top three senior o-linemen, but once again our lovely marketing department was too lazy to find a current picture and went with one two years old. Greg Gorder is the QB on the poster and on the billboard. They changed his number from 16 to 9 to make you think its Tony.

I will have to review the poster again! That seems unproffessional to put an old picture on a new poster ???

I'd say that alone is good enough reason to send the SID packing.

Not a bad Photoshop job if true.

Am I the only one who can't get these links to come up? Could you post them on a message? Thanks!

Probably just a bandwidth related problem (I hope).

CableOne isn't the most reliable ISP :-/, but their speed for the price is unbeatable (in this area).
