It looks like we're going to see another #8 running all over the field on defense for the Bison. It looks like Joe Mays has taken the number of the great Mike Sheppard. I can't think of a better person to wear that number. I see that a few young men are missing from the latest roster, notably Mike Piriano, Alex Kingsley, Matt Skoy, freshman DL James Bechdol and recruit Zach Harrington.

The missing guys might have something to do with the 90-player limit on the roster. Coach Bohl said that they couldn't invite everybody he wanted to.

You may be right. I know Alex Kingsley and Bechdol both have had serious knee injuries and may be on the shelf for a while.
