I have all my login information but the CBS site is kinda difficult to navigate. So far I can't find a link but hope to get it figured out. I miss the games being on ESPN+, ESPN2, ESPN+ etc.

The NCAA is having what's called a post season WBIT which will be fully funded by the NCAA (who'd a thunk it). This is in contrast to the WNIT which was basically funded on the individual participating school's dime. Will NDSU be invited to the WBIT ? Good question !

Both games were close until the end. Need to somehow contain Brooklyn Meyer or get her into foul trouble. SDSU has choked in the Summit Championship before. NDSU has a much deeper bench.

Yep. We need our horses to come out strong and take it to the bunnies and our bench depth can really play a factor. Can't afford to go cold or end up with either Evans or Hamling in foul trouble.

Agreed. Draper has been playing really well lately, and I really like Avery Koenen's game coming off of a 10 point, 10 rebounds game. Need to make some shots and rebound well today.

Rebound comes down to your effort to get into position to boxout and grab the ball strong. Second chance points for Bison and non for Bunnies and we have a shot at knocking them off.

SDSU has only played 6 or 7 girls this tournament. 3 games in 4 days might test their legs with the shorter bench. I think we need to really push the pace if we get defensive rebounds from missed shots.

Omaha packed the paint and made them shot from outside - which was pretty effective keeping them in the game. There are going to be lot of short 3s today as the legs will be gone.

Need to slow down Paige and Brooklyn which is easier said then done.

8 turnovers by the Jackrabbits but they still lead after the 1st quarter 11-10. Bison outrebounded 11-4. That can not happen for the Bison to win.

Bison have been so close on their shots only to slightly miss them. The Bison could easily be leading this game.

Outscored 25-15 in the 4th. Took care of the ball pretty well until then. Ladies had a good year, lots of young players. Avery has what it takes to be a great one.

We are so close, Jory has closed what was a Grand Canyon sized gap between us the top of the Summit. The future of Bison women's basketball is very bright.

Disappointing loss but it was great season for the team. Need a couple more peices and just get better across the board. Jacks are tough to beat especially down there and they seem to get all the calls too. Sad to see Hamling go out with that game but she left her mark on this program!

Furure is bright. This isn't "our best team in the D1 era." It's the start of something big. We got one hell of a core and theyy will improve

Watching the recorded game now. Refs letting them play but then making more pro bunny calls for the most part. In 2nd qrt. Bison ahead 15-11 and create 5 stops in a row but miss 3 layups, a midrange and a three which can’t happen in these big games. CBS announcers about as dramatic as a weatherman during a thunderstorm storm.

I thought the refs were consistent. Home crowd always gets a couple of calls. You gotta expect it

I watched the recorded game tonight. Bison were in it all game long and matched them punch to counterpunch all game long. Bison just did not shoot well today. They were missing open shots that they normally make. It seems like right after Elle left with the injury the Jacks got a few quick scores (wonder if the players lost focus for a bit while worried about Elle) and then the game got away.

Overall for the entire tournament it didn't seem like the Bison shot very well in that arena. Maybe they need to try and get some non-conference games in the arena to get more shooting practice in the arena in games that aren't as meaningful as the tournament games.

I just hope we are able to keep all of the young talent and develop them. Jory is doing great and I hope he gets a raise and an extension. Go Bison!

We have a lot of good young players so we should continue to improve, but....SDSU loses one senior and gets back three starters next year that missed the entire season due to injury. So I don't know if we narrowed the gap as much as it appears.

Great year for the team and coaches. Plenty to be proud of. Thank you Heaven for coming to NDSU and be one of the pieces that starts the turnaround for this program.

Haven't checked Bisonville since getting back from the tournament but I was damn proud of this team, I know we didn't play our best game, didn't shoot well but that was the best defensive game we played all year and it was the most effort I've seen out of that team since Jory has been coaching. They gave it everything they had for 40 minutes and unfortunately couldn't get enough shots to fall to come out on the right side of it. Unless AJ leaves, SDSU will be even better next year but with all of our freshman with another year of experience, another solid recruiting class coming in and only losing Heav which hopefully her sister can step into some of those minutes and become a shot maker for us we should stick right there with them.
