Our schedule was reasonably solid, except for MT Tech, as 3 of the opponents are currently top 25. We barely lost to Cal-Poly(11), beat NW State(23), and have Cal-Davis(22) next week. Too bad all the losses were conference games.

Nice performance by the Bison, way to represent. Weber is a BSC team whether they claim BB status or not. Wish we could have pulled it out over Montana St. Imagine the cred then. Nice win for UNC today. Maybe SUU is what we thought they were. A team with talent but no heart. Sounds like they will sing anyone, I mean anyone. I look forward to traveling in there and representing the best of the former NCC. UNC did a nice job today.

They were announcing the und score and others during the game. The SDSU/augie game was announced to. I was very disappointed that the Jacks couldnt cover the 30 pt spread. The fact is I care about those scores, but its more like watching the high school scores, more at that level of interest. I can actually say they mean very little to me, but I had to laugh watching UNO live out their typical late season collapse. Some things never change.

After watching the ghame in Ogden yesterday I have just a few comments.

1- Walker is doing a great job as QB. *Talent and poise rolled into one. *He is the QB for the next 3 years!

2- What can you say about Steffes. *WOW! and he is young.

3- We did have some special teams coverage problems. *We gave up far too many yards on returns. *

4- At times the defense had Weber nailed, but it never seemed that we realy got it totally figured out. *The defense needs to play better in order to win next week at Davis. *

5- I could not drink more beer than Roadwarrior on Friday night......eventhough I gave it one hell of a try.... ;)

6- The Alumni Association had a great pre-game tailgate with a fantastic showing of Bison Alumni from the area!

7- The Weber fans were fantastic folks and many stopped by the NDSU section and told us that they hoped we got into the Big Sky and played them on a regular basis.

Great day for the BISON! *A win over any Big Sky school is important, regardless of their record. *Especially when the win is on the road.

Steffes took control of the game. *It was fun to watch him pound out the yards up the middle.

I heard that there was a 1959 NDSU graduate at the game who lives in Idaho, that had not seen a BISON game since he was in school! *

A group of Weber fans started copying our "FIRST DOWN" cheer in the 3rd quarter. *But they definately were not as loud as we were.

WYO - we never got a chance to find out who would ultimately out drink the other due to "last call" coming too early. *But Marie did give it her best shot to see that we never ran dry ;D

This has been alluded to by Steve Hallstom. He stated that Parsons is a Bohl recruit (and his most targeted recruit). Parsons also has more option experience, which might not directly come into play, but might make him a little more mobile in the pocket. Walker has been very impressive in his starts, displaying good decisions, some mobility, and a good touch on his passes. If anyone knocks him out of a starting spot, he's going to be a very, very good player.
