Bison women struggling mightly out of the gate and trail the 10 seed Kansas City by 13 with 5 mins left in the 2nd.

Lot of basketball left but this has been ugly so far.

just awful down 13 . Behnke has had awful shots down low

heaven sits with 2 fouls? why. just get her back in else you'll be down by 20

Bison shoot 33% and turn it over 7 times.

Just a flat footed half. Hopefully the gals can get an immediate spark coming out of halftime to reclaim momentum. Can’t go 0-6 from beyond the arc and 33% FG percentage overall and expect to be successful.

I believe they can respond. Go Bison!

Kansas City is very short handed, basically only play 6 players. Bison need to come out aggressive and attack them. Also cant let them shoot 53%. I fully expect the ladies to make a run.

Defense has not been good. Kansas City has a couple of guards who ALWAYS use their right hand or use a screen to get to their right hand and NDSU can't stop it. A lot of very easy shots or free throws for the Roos.

Kansas City is up to 60% shooting percentage, the defense has been beyond awful today.

Nice 3rd quarter. Elle Evans had 12 points alone in that quarter. Better defense and forced some turnovers.

Bison are going to fall short and lose in the 1st round. Really tough showing vs an awful Kansas City team. Really struggled to shoot and allowed to many easy hoops for KC.

Bison lose 71-64.

Rough loss. KC took advantage of the moment and NDSU struggled to shake the nerves.

Hoping the girls get another home game this year

Bison just struggled putting the ball in the hoop on the road all season. Thought they were going to pull it out after that third quarter but just couldn't finish and credit KC they hit some big shots.

1 and done. What a disapointing end to a great season. But at least we dont have to watch them lose to the Bunnies by 40. Hopefully we can make more of an NIT game

What a dissapointing loss. Must have missed 10 layups. Free throw shooting was awful K C seemed to want it more. Really didn't see a lot of fire or leadership from our veterans either. Very dissapointed.

Honestly, I think last weekends sweep was more meaningful than todays game. Assuming sdsu wins the whole thing, winning lasts weeks games means a WNIT invite. Therefore, would you have rather have gotten the 3rd seed, won in the quarters today, won the semis on Monday, and lost in the finals to sdsu…then no additional WNIT game? Either scenario is a step forward for the program and therefore a successful season regardless!

Plenty of blame to go around. Terrible shooting vs 50 % shooting by KC. Too many missed bunnies. Hopefully, NIT invite will be c.

As long as SDSU wins NDSU is guaranteed a WNIT spot by finishing second in their conference.
