Bison lose 63 to 58. I watched the 4th quarter after the men's game was in hand. If our bigs could make layups, we would have won the game. So many missed shots and fumbling of passes. Oh, well. On to Denver.

Yeah we played really well defensively, we just couldn't hit an open 3 to save our life and missed quite a few wide open shots right under the basket, not just by our bigs. Too many dumb turnovers as well, we actually didn't have that many total in the game but almost all of them were just mental gaffs of bad passes out of bounds. Tough one to lose, only good new is ORU also lost so it didn't cost us as badly as it could have.

The second USD game could have been a comfortable win if we could have hit layups.

Yup, a lot of games would have been easier. We miss bunnies every game. I wonder if Jory has thought of putting Evans in the post a bit. She makes most of her layups.

Evans had a great game with 16 points and 15 rebounds. She is doing amazing for a true freshman. I do think sometimes she need to be a little more aggressive especially down low and maybe post up more? Just a thought. I feel like sometimes this team tries to pass too much which results in having some turnovers versus taking it strong to hoop and getting to the foul line.
