Blake Peterson of Beresford, S.D., is expected to transfer to NDSU, according to what sources told WDAY-TV's Dom Izzo. Peterson played in 28 career games with the Cyclones and will have two years of eligibility.

I was sorry to see Blake Peterson enter the portal, but I understand. We tend to use a 3 linemen set, so snaps are limited for backups. And, believe it or not, we have been stacked with really good defensive linemen for a few years. He is a guy who ought to playing, so I hope he finds that place.

No idea but if I had to guess its either UNI (closer to Ames), a Power 5 or a South Dakota school since it's closer to home. I heard his dad was a Bunny but USD offered.
