How has our play calling in the run game changed from basically a 2 back system with Bohl and Klieman to what we have now? I don’t remember RB’s getting hurt then the way they do now. Is it the quality of the plays? Is it the situation in which the play calls are made? Just seems odd that Crockett can make it through an entire regular season and post season and not having any major issues as a feature back but now we have guys dropping like flies so we need to use all 40 of em. Any thoughts to this? Our running game works but when it doesn’t it sure doesn’t.

Never mind the passing game for now.

This isn’t from a production standpoint but more of a healthy RB room standpoint.

Looking like we'll need to bring in a transfer RB next year IMO

Quit using a 175 pounder as a fullback.

It hasnt changed much but Roehl does a bit more read option and the QB is getting more carries. We learned if your going to play a 15 game season, you better have a stable of backs. Much has to do with injuries to runnning backs, fullbacks and tight ends

Miller isnt very good with reads in that option game. Noticed it in several games making the wrong read.

everyone is selling out on our running back run game, we need to loosen things up with short to intermediate passes, which means that Cam has to be on as a passing QB, which he wasn't last night.
