Some great players on this team. The only real surprises to me was that Matt Gorman and Kenny Chicoine (a freshman from Cal Poly) were Honorable Mention defensive backs.

I would take Gorman over any other CB in the conference. He shut down Vincent Jackson (offensive player of the year), and every other WR this year. We will really miss him next year.

To me, the immediate glaring absence on that list is Gorman. When I saw the title of the article in the Forum, the first name that came to me was Gorman. Dahl may have had more interceptions but it seemed like Gorman was breaking up more big plays every game.
