Devin Clark, 6-3, 185, DB, Marietta, GA

A 47 second 400m is outrageous.

HS heights are usually an inch or two off, but the speed is undeniable.

Welcome!

When I saw the Bison had offered Devin Clark after the Mercer Camp in early June, saw the height/weight combined with his 400M times, it was easy to dream on that.
Thought about another tall + fast + underrecruited prospect from a southern recruiting region that NDSU frequents……
Of course that prospect turned out to be a WR, so will be interesting to see where Clark ends up.
There is always a need for tall + fast! CB or S or WR.

Lots of talent in Georgia. Must play at a high level given the number of kids on his team that have scholarship offers.

As far as this kid goes, he's certainty got the size and athleticism. Not a ton of flashy highlights but corner usually doesn't. We've had some success recruiting Georgia so I trust the coaches

Congrats!

Still worried about what sport Devin Clark chooses for college, signing day will be here soon. (See track offers above)
Am hoping that football is what his choice will be, of course I have my green and gold glasses on there……

The only glory this recruit was consulting was his own. Good riddance before he got here!

The scene of "To find his equal an Irishman is forced to talk to God!" from Braveheart is going to be in my head all day now lol

What SDbison said, NDSU football isn't the program to join if you're going to have second thoughts. You might end up at UNI in 2 years. Best of luck

Would much rather have a recruit decommit now instead of coming here and bailing later on. Timing at this point of recruiting isn't the best but good luck to this young man in whatever he and God decide to do moving forward.

De-8commits!. Due to “talks with god”. Pure BS. He does not belong as a Bison. Did not he notice the after game celebration?

Deep question of the day....what is the new word for a College Athletics commitment by an individual? At the rate they are backed out of, it is hardly "commitment".

This happens a lot and it happens to lots of schools. Best way to think of a verbal commitment as "if signing day was today, this is where I would go."

I think this is why coaches pushed to get an Early Signing Day, so they could lock in as many as they can. Some kids shut their recruiting down, but a lot do not.
