Josiah "Jo Jo" Azure, 6-2, 225, LB/FB, Green Bay (Bay Port), WI

He is a standout in the weight events in track and is from the same school as incoming freshman, Nate Forystek.

What are the odds of having two unrelated kids with the last name of Azure on the team at the same time? At least 5 to 1, right? And neither from Rolette County? That has to bump the odds up to 10000000 to 1.

They can get NIL deals with Microsoft "Azure"

Where do we think he will play? TE, FB or MLB?

This young man is just a wrecking ball as a pass rusher and blocker on offense ! Welcome to the herd Josiah !

No word from his grandma if he's related to Kelby Azure?

I saw his junior highlights when he committed and I was impressed. I just saw his senior highlights and holy fucking shit he is a player. The kid can block, fly to the football, and tackle. Deciding how to use him is a challenge

Like someone said in another thread we now have a defined position that Luepke carved out and I think JoJo fits it perfectly.

Ha Morlock didn’t do half the things Luepke has done in the field.

Morlock did pretty much all the things Luepke did, and if Luepke had to share the field with Bruce and Dunn he'd have way fewer carries too.

Go back and watch Morlock on that game winning td run by Carson Wentz in the greatest fcs championship game ever played and report back eh. He's no Luepke. Nothing against the person. He was way over rated on the field eh.

With his desire and determination, he needs to play LB.

He has the "it factor" for sure. I agree, I want to see this kid at linebacker blitzing the QB but I almost always want the best athletes on defense
But if he end ups in a Luepke type role, thats cool too

For those who havent seen this kids senior highlights, enjoy

U guys are all wrong. We are transitioning our offense to running Qb power more than 50% so I feel he is our next QB. Probably won’t disclose it till next year though.

Looks like we're getting an amazing young man! Beating Jackrabbits and Panthers shouldn't be a problem after beating cancer.
