Tied 1-1 middle of 3rd. Ucsb pitcher has walked 7 and only given up 1 run. Failed suicide squeeze and a put out at home on a wild pitch have killed the Bison.

Bison sweep UTSA 10 - 0 in 5, and Maine 12 - 2 schedule was changed due to travel issues for NDSU. Tomorrow 2/20 at 8:00A vs Maine and 10:30A vs Georgia Southern both listed to be on ESPN+

Watched some Omaha UND softball today. It was a decent day. Omaha pitcher Kamryn Meyer 11 innings 22 strikeouts.
The kind of pitcher that can win you the Summit Tournament.

Bison women just pulled the tail-feathers off the 'Hawks 5-2 in 1st round of the Summit. Will face Omaha sometime tomorrow (based on weather.) All games on Midco.

Summit League officials announced Friday morning that all games scheduled for the Summit League Championship today, Friday, May 13, have been postponed due to damage and a power outage across the South Dakota State University campus caused by the heavy storms that passed through the state Thursday night.

The campus is closed Friday to only essential employees. League officials and members of the games committee will continue to evaluate the situation and decide on how the remainder of the tournament schedule will play out once everything is properly assessed.

Congratulations to SDSU. They were clearly the best team this year. Hopefully they make the Summit league proud and show how competitive our league is. NDSU has some work to do to get back to where we were. BUT there is no doubt we’ll be force again soon. It may take a few more years but we’ll be back!

South Dakota State softball coach Krista Wood is leaving to be the head coach at Creighton. A big step for Wood and a big loss for the Jacks. She did a tremendous job rebuilding that program.
