Bison head to WIU to take on the Leathernecks. Crucial game for seeding purposes in Sioux Falls, Bison currently sit in the 4 spot right now, tied with UMKC and a half game behind ORU. WIU is a 1 pt favorite at home tonight. WIU defeated the Bison in Fargo earlier this season but neither Nelson or Morgan played in that game.

Tip is set for 6pm and live video feed is available thru the WIU athletic site.

WIU is favored by 1 at most books it seems. Draft Kings has NDSU favored by 1. My book has WIU -1.5, if it gets to 2, I may have to put a bet on the Bison.

Leathernecks website says game is on ESPN+ and I did find it on the ESPN+ menu.

Regardless, it'll be the WIU broadcast crew which is always good. Bison better be ready to play. If we come out flat or go through one of our scoring droughts, we'll get beat. I'll be watching to see how we decide to defend Massner and Barisic. They went off for 31 and 28 last game and WIU put up 90 on us. Our defense needs to be much better and much tougher.

Happy to be wrong but this team needs to have a killer instinct up 16 with this group we need to bury them. Instead we get soft and lazy with a little ball pressure from WIU. Big to get this win though, guys played a lot of minutes tonight coming off a tough game monday. Will be interesting to see what kind of legs they have on Saturday.

Very different than football or baseball. It's very common to get and lose big leads. It happens to even the best college teams and in the NBA.

You are not wrong and I understand its a game of runs, but good/great teams have the ability to seperate themselves. Whens the last time this group has done that (St Thomas game prolly). There have been numerous games this season where we have built a 10+ point lead only to give all the momentum back to the opponent. We play a ton of close games, and Ill give credit to the guys they are finding ways to win but could we get a stress free win once in awhile.

Glad they got the win tonight don't get me wrong. What is this process HC DR talks about. I see we are up to 10 minute droughts without a FG. These droughts have been plagging us last couple years. Is this team supposed to just flip a switch come tourney time?

Classic richman team. Beginning of the year you wonder whether we even going to make the tournament now we're nearing the end and are in contention to be #2. Which will get us a favorable spot and we don't have to have SDSU until championship game and they've just had 2 "give them our best shot" games and we'll take them down and get a 15 or 16 seed... Stop me if you've heard this story.

Oddly in a way I've seen Chapo's point for a few years now. Richman is a far cry from Saul or Tim in style. That said Saul was 134-84 and Dave is 136-87 prior to this year. Saul benefited from a great NCAA win and was able to get a higher paying job from it. Not sure what Dave's ambitions are but his personality is not on level of Saul's or Tim where they were more extroverted and seemingly more engaging in interviews with media. Dave doesn't really have a wow factor game that he's won. Closest was when we gave Gonzaga a run for their money. Tim had Wisconsin and Marquette. Saul had one or two semi big ones plus Oklahoma in the tournament.

Richman and his staff have done a great job recruiting

Richman and his staff have done a good job of finding ways to win

Richman and his staff have not done a good job of developing their talent over the years

Richman and his staff have not done a good job of creating an offensive system that takes advantage of their talent

Agreed. The announcers even seemed surprised and commented how their guy (floppy mcflopperson) had a reputation for flopping and was called for 2 flops in the previous game.
