Gumby, can you post both the NDSU and MSU flights? Once we know they are in the air, game on!

At least there is activity at Hector today. I could hear one plane fly it, but couldn't see it through the blowing snow even though our house is almost directly below the flight path.

I had no idea that planes flew into mckinney. I thought our airport was only for the monopoly men from raytheon.

Scratch the Montana state one on American, that now looks to be a normal flight to Dallas.

Here is the inbound team plane.

I am not seeing a departure though...and according to the team Twitter, the plane already left.

Too small a plane I think (70 passenger capacity) for MSU.

A lot of private planes fly in and out of BZN

Looks like the Cats had to get another plane, they went back to the Bobcat Athletic Complex and are waiting for a new plane to arrive in Bozeman.

Since it's schedule to take off 30 minutes after the team charter, I'm wondering if it's a secondary plane for team staff, administration and families.

I love how they flew right over Brookings. Any chance the valve on the sewage tank had a major malfunction at that time?

Ed Wegel, CEO of Global X, just posted on his linked in feed a GX ready for departure in the snow at 0 degrees in Montana. I presume they are chartering Bobcats. I took a picture of it and have to figure out how to post it here

It’s a great airport to fly in; huge runway. It’s a beech king air, not an airliner. I used to do a lot of pattern work there. You are probably more referring to Texas Instruments; that’s where they have their aircraft.

Probably Big Sky airlines, stops at Ennis (MT), West Yellowstone(MT), Jackson (WY), Evanston (WY), Moab (UT), Durango (CO), Albuquerque (NM), Las Cruces (NM), Mdland (TX) and Abilene (TX). You'll arrive in DFW at exactly 1030am Saturday or else.

Ha, there are few charters, one out of Bozeman, one from Billings and I think I heard one out of Helena too. None out of Missoula Ha Ha

Did you ever fly Big Sky? We stopped in Sidney once on the way to Williston, ND. No one got on, no one got off, essential air service required stop.

A couple of times, It used to come to Lewistown too. Was able to get direct flights from here to Denver. Yeah, ESA was kind of a joke though.

That is the Billings Charter,

I think the band charter is flying out of Bozeman today too.

My son and his friends drove down, arrived in Arlington a few hours ago, they are staying with another MSU alum.

Yeah I bagged coming...Snow hit here in Philly area this AM and the AA flight at 8:30 I would have used air miles on, AA 1411, cancelled as well as 6:30AM before that. As I was using air miles Im sure the fine print boots me off (anyone with experience on that) as the 11AM nonstopper to DFW did get off but they have to now accomodate TWO planes of folks cancelled going forward! PLUS I have to make it back Sunday sure (worried about Covid cancellation) as I start brand new great job Monday. LOL iM 59, couldnt deal with the stress.

I remember 59. That was a pretty good year as I recall.

I remember the year I turned 59 too. That one was even better but only because I had fewer restrictions.

Dude, you should not bag coming though. One day it may not be an option.
