SH is going to get their points. MSU has to play better than they did in the 1st half.

Remember 2012 Griz vs SHSU in the semis?

Sammy came back from multiple TDs down. Young Timmy Flanagan had a big night.

I don’t really have a problem watching Sammy get pummeled at home as their FCS goodbye

Mellott from Montana St reminds me a smaller faster Quincy Patterson. Great runner but all his passes are downfield. I'd expect SDSU to implement the Quincy defense against him and blitz the hell out of them so he has to throw short or take sacks/losses.

I don’t hate SHSU at all but watching the bobcats rape and pillage them at their place is pretty amusing.

Good on ya Montana State.

It's gonna be a northern plains migration to Frisco.

They think they’re FBS material and the OC has to sit outside? #niceFacilities

That was 2011 and that was the night of PL, Twitchy, and some protoplasm.

Might be fun to see Montana St in Frisco for a change.
Glad it won't be SHSU, and they can limp into fbs as an fcs loser.

The OC sits in the pressbox, the DC is on the sideline because he likes it there. I wish we had our outgoing OC sitting in a freaking portapot, but no one listens to me.

We ran into a buzzsaw last night. Bobcats DL ran through our OL like shit through a goose. Their qb is a good run threat, but I still don't know if the kid can really pass. He threw up a bunch of air balls and his receivers were able to run under them, unfortunately, politely escorted by our DB's. Schmid made bad decisions, his picks were throws that never should have been attempted. We got beat good. We got out-coached.

Our fans were split, like yours, about the move to FBS. I was, and still am, against it. Your board combined all of your threads into one, and last I looked, was around 400 posts. I like the playoff's, and, like our former conference mates Texas State and others, the move to FBS is met with the instant gratification of mediocrity and obscurity. Well, we've got that going for us.

As for our OC, he was announced as the new HC at Delaware on Friday. Good riddance. He had a buttload of trick plays that never worked, and sometimes ran three in a row, then punted. Genius. He used the swinging gate, a play formation that should have died a natural death in junior high or high school.

Good luck in the semi's and beyond. The game with the pukes should be a knockout-drag-out.

Keeler always seems to lack substance but manages to find some success where he goes. Will be interesting to see how he pans out in the FBS for you. I have my doubts.

Keeler's already quoted as saying he likes championships, so there are questions if he stays around after the transition.

Won't he get a big pay bump next year? Where would he go?

KC might win some games in cusa against JSU and also some scrub teams like UMass and Uconn.
I could see him going 6-6ish or better in that league. That gets you a bowl.

Not sure how big of bump he might get. The U prez and AD are going to have to make some major budgeting increases. Bowers stadium will need to double in capacity. Travel costs are going up.

I'm like a lot of you guys. Who the hell wants to go to a bowl game to watch a couple of 6-win teams in a bowl that means nothing, except maybe the local chamber of commerce.
