2021 Game 10 Preview: The Penguins

I don't know what to think of the Penguins, but I do know that I always get nervous about playing programs with a lot of history on their Senior Day. NDSU better come out angry because a wounded Penguin is a dangerous Penguin.

Apparently, they've found a rushing attack because they ran all over UND and should have won that game... UND had five first downs from penalty.

If NDSU can stop the run and keep their QB in the pocket, the Bison should roll.

RB Jaleel McLaughlin is a dude... probably the best MVFC RB outside of Pierre Strong. Their QB reminds me a lot of Bryce Jefferson, the ISUr QB who started against NDSU... just dinks and dunks and is more dangerous running the ball than throwing it. Should be a good game for Tutsie to be up near the LOS making plays in run support.

Their defense has been downright putrid on the season in pretty much every aspect... they improved to just being below average last week against UND but this should be a game, much like Indiana St was, for the Bison offense to "get right".

The YSU QB was a game time decision and he played. (Don't get caught in that spin.) But they only mustered 75 yards passing (13-17, 0 TD, 1 int).

Their pass protect completely failed in the fourth.

Yeah at first I went back and forth between feeling better about him and wincing at his bs to mostly just being annoyed at his smirk and deflection/questioning the reporter shit. It also struck me with as many times as he mentioned the coaches having to figure out how to make sure the kids know what is being told to them ... maybe our coaches aren't good teachers??

It isn't necessarily what's being taught but WHY you are being asked to do what we want you to do. If they teach why and how it effects the play as a whole then it all falls in to place. As in...if I do this...this happens. If I do that... that happens. Then the player can comprehend what hes doing and why.
Some coaches are just task orientated and aren't good teachers of the game.

we just went & sat in lower corner behind NDSU bench , the YSU students sit on 30-50 yard line... so next to them on 10 yard line they'll be plenty of room

Yeah, easy to forget because Philadelphia is a significant port city, but Pennsylvania doesn't actually touch the Atlantic. Philly sits on the Delaware River, but the mouth of the Delaware River is(not surprisingly) shared between Delaware and New Jersey.

I would say Indiana and Ohio more Mideast if there was such a destination. Great Lakes would also be a valid designation since we all touch one.
