Will we see Carson at his best or close to it tonight?

so far it's a SOLID B

great drives, 1 fumble that he couldn't really help and another sack

Chris Board starting at LB for Ravens. Wentz vs Board. Might see Lance offense vs Wentz offense in a couple weeks.

They just had Board on the screen with some graphics and talked about him a bit but I cam into it late. Anyone know if they mentioned NDSU or that he and Carson went to the same school? Just curious.

Thought it was kind of funny that they said the Ravens don't want to play him too much on D because he's so valuable on special teams. Don't think I have ever heard that before.

Lucky for you the definition of anti vac still seems pretty narrow around here. Right, as long as you don’t just come out and say “nigger lips” but just dance around it you should be fine.

Yeah but...

The emails in question are not from 30 yrs ago.

Whatever, I really don't want to argue with anyone who can say they believe Gruden should still be the head coach of the Raiders.

And Kevin I know you're just stirring the pot. The McFeely of Bisonville :)

I don't know what tweet you are talking about from Carson, but it seems like a weird thing to bring up when we could all be watching Wentz and Board play football on Monday Night.

I'm assuming it is something to do with a word that I've heard a lot of HS kids call each other... but presumably Carson was a minor when he tweeted whatever offended you*; I'm pretty sure that Gruden was not. I mean if a criminal record gets wiped out when you turn 18, I'm pretty sure that tweets should get a certain discount as well - especially when no malice was intended. That said, I'm not sure why Gruden stepped down. He can explain himself and then make them fire him.

* if it actually did offend you.

Nothing Carson or Gruden did or said offends me. I also thought that bringing up what Carson said years ago was bullshit.

FYI Iam watching the game.

Sorry if I misunderstood you. I was really trying to avoid the Gruden stuff in this thread and I'm not going to go back and sift through it to find out who brought up Carson's childhood social media.

And, holy carp, Colts defense is helpless right now. The Indy offense needs to score on every drive right now.... and take some time doing it.

He and Lamar are both having outrageous games. They have probably mentioned how great Lamar is doing 100 times.

The guy blamed Carson for his line holding and for getting blindsided when his tackle whiffed and fumbled

Wow that was one hell of a game and 2 incredible QB performances. Carson was insane and would have won it hadn't the kicker been injured but Lamar Jackson is a young Mike Vick who could pass like an older Mike Vick. I think he's my favorite NFL player

Weird observation but Carson has clearly lost some of his athleticism (knee, foot, ankle, back) but in a weird way, it's kind of made him a better QB. It's helped him lose that gun slinger mentality which is making him a better QB. You don't see those highlight plays but he's getting rid of the ball faster

Whatever the causation last night was less “hero ball” and more “Brady ball” which I think will be great for him if he can be comfortable with it.

OTOH - Lamar Jackson - sheesh, what a half! He should be sending some gift baskets to the Colts DC and secondary today pronto.

They were going so fast that they just flat out wore them out. I wouldn't even call it bad defense. Just an exhausted one. You do the hurry up with an athlete like Jackson and I was tired just watching them trying to sub. Not sure why the coach didn't use a defensive timeout late in the game or in OT.
